Old Village Wines Online Shipping Policy
Age Requirement
The purchase of alcohol by persons under the age of 21 is prohibited by law. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine or spirits. By placing an order through our web site or phone, you are representing yourself to us as at least 21 years of age and that the person to whom it is being shipped is at least 21 years of age. We reserve the right to ask for proof of identity before processing an order. Title to the wine you order passes to you as soon as it leaves our doors; it is up to you to know the relevant laws in your state. An adult signature with proof of age verification is required at time of delivery. Please be aware that someone over the age of 21 must be available to sign for the package. If no one is available at the time of delivery, the package will not be left.
Old Village Wines makes no warranty, expressed or implied, about the wine being sold except that Old Village is conveying clear title to the wine and, to Old Village's knowledge, the wine is what its label describes it to be. Specifically, because wine by its nature is subject to change in the bottle over time, Old Village Wines makes no warranty or guaranty of the quality or drinkability of any wine sold.
Old Village Wines & Liquors is not responsible for any breakage or damage of wine by said common carrier.
Note: various states impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages that may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction by a purchaser from another state without requiring the purchaser, a seller or shipper to possess certain licenses or permits. Old Village Wines & Liquors does not, as a condition of sale, assume any obligation nor bear any responsibility whatsoever for applying or obtaining any permits or licenses. Therefore, we recommend that you investigate the possibility of such limitations, and determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages shall be brought into your state from New York, so as to comply with all of your state’s requirements.
